Phase 0.

In Phase 0 of Foster Machine Co., we look to build sustainability and basic operations funding for R&D.

Phase 0 Project Summaries: 

Project 1: Particularly timely as federal dollars for many historic grants to improve the health and well-being of our communities are on pause. Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) have not been released, and it is unclear when/if they will be. Foster Machine Co.’s Phase 0 goal intends to help ensure there is a continued focus on treatment research innovation. Goals of research include; how can we better support healthier living for leading, chronic medical conditions? What technology support for conditions such as heart-disease and liver failure could improve treatment outcomes? 

Project 2: Social Dough (SoDo) provides local, boots on the ground resource sharing to address social determinants of health as a strategy for improving the overall health of individuals in communities. In the first goal of the project, five contactless sites will provide basic health/hygiene supplies, such as toilet paper. The goal is to provide these resources in a way where anybody can get these resources at each individual's own convenience, no questions asked.

The goal of Phase 0 is to support operations and infrastructure development for Foster Machine Co. Phase 0 also integrates core values of Foster Machine Co., the balance of service delivery and innovation.
